Fly Fishing in New Jersey

One may not think so, but the beloved Garden State offers tremendous opportunities for the pursuit of trout in New Jersey. We have all of the species you would expect: rainbows, browns, brook, and an occasional tiger trout. The state has done an outstanding job in providing many opportunities to not only catch trout, but also have a chance of catching a fish of a lifetime.

My Philosophy

My philosophy is simple: HAVE FUN!! No matter your age, I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't get excited when there is a fish tugging on their line.

My job is to make sure you have a good time, possibly pick up a few tips and tricks, but most importantly, to give you the best opportunity to catch a fish.

Locations

The rivers and streams I concentrate on are the North and South Branch of the Raritan River, the Pequest River, the Big and Little Flatbrook, the Paulins Kill, and the Musconetcong River.

All of these bodies of water are heavily stocked by the state as well as having both hold over and wild fish.
